Based out of Far Heath Recording Studios in the lush surroundings of rural Northamptonshire countryside Angus Wallace specializes in live recording , the use of acoustic spaces and mike/ pre amp matching. He has been engineering for the past 18 years ,working with bands like The Prodigy , Spiritualized and The Fall. His love of audio has recently earned him a Masters Degree in "Sound Design".

His very competitively priced studio benefits from natural light in every room providing an ideal creative environment in which to write and record.

An eclectic array of musical styles has been created at Far Heath with its various live rooms, recording areas, and large microphone collection. It is capable and accomplished in recording all genres of live music – dance music has also regularly played a part in the history of Far Heath Studios with remix credits that include the Stranglers and Bob Marley and the Wailers.

Now in its sixteenth year, Far Heath Studios has unrivalled facilities (accommodation, lounge, kitchen) and professional experience that can only benefit you, the artist and the producer.

Exigy 515s, Focal Twin 6s, Yamaha NS10s, Avantone MixCubes and Chevin Research amps - Monitoring is a critical part of the recording process, if you cannot trust what your ears are telling you then we all may as well pack up and go home. We have a number of monitoring options right from the soffit-mounted mains, to the all important miniature Avantones. It is vitally important to us that our recordings translate well onto all formats.
