Glenn Povey is a Professional Lead Guitarist with a fantastic rock playing style. From 70’s classic rock (Page, Lifeson, Kossof, Blackmore), through to the present day, capturing the likes of Gilmour, Van Halen, Malmsteen and a touch of Hendrix along the way.

He started playing the guitar aged 13 and within months he could play classic rock numbers such as ‘Stairway to heaven’ and ‘All right now’. After performing covers and original material for several local and national bands he joined the London based Figgy Fox Banned. During this time he wrote the theme music ‘You make the sun’ for the BBC2 documentary ‘Present Imperfect’. This song reached No .1 in the UK. Demo chart.

In 1991 he was also invited to play guitar in the much acclaimed production of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ to a sell-out capacity audience at the Ipswich Corn Exchange.
All proceeds went to the ‘Save the Children’. His most recent band collaboration was with Bedouin. This band recently supported Hawkwind at London’s Brixton Academy as part of the Hawkestra Event. Glen has over 400 live gigs to his credit and has toured UK
