O.D Hunte is a London based producer specialising in Hip Hop, RnB Soul, vocal recording and production. O.D has worked with major game companies (EA Sports), major label artists (Atlantic Records US, Sony, BMG), indie projects (V2 Records, Urbanstar Records, Concept Records) as well as scores of new artists, which ultimately has helped to secure multi-album deals with such companies as Sony UK, BMG and Rocafella.

OD has completed music for film and television, for such shows as The Osbournes, Ride with Funk Master Flex, Las Vegas, Night and Day, Resurrection Boulevard, Girlfriend, Parkers and Doctor No as well as movie trailers such as Dirty Pretty Things.

Artists choose to work with OD becasue he delivers tracks that are street yet still commercial while keeping it real. OD's studio is based around a 64 track Pro Tools TDM system for audio recording and mixing. Other tools include hi end recording outboard by Focusrite, Neuman, Empirical labs and Lexicon. OD is originally from Trinidad and holds a Hons Degree in Physics with Modern Acoustics. OD plays Keyboards and Bass guitar.

Phuturistix have now completed their second LP, “Breathe some Light.” The album features vocals from Mr J, Jenna G, Mpho Skeef, Fyza, Oezlem, Vaceo, and co-productions with Afronaut and Kaidi Tatham, AtJazz and Dharma One. Choice cuts from the LP have been remixed by the likes of Mark de Clive-Lowe, Domu and Osunlade for release on 12" later this year. From west London jazzers to the east London raves, Japanese festivals to New York clubs it seems everyone’s in tune to Phuturistix, as they continue to redefine genres with ease.
