At 2KHz, we've developed a distinctive and laidback space, devoted to great sound and professional recording. You'll find vintage equipment, instruments, HD3 with Pro Tools 7.1 (Running on OSX Tiger, G5) and a Trident Series 80 desk.For band recording and professional production and editing, you'll find a whole musical experience. Beyond music, there's a lounge, kitchen and shower room; video and games console; access to the internet; and overnight facilities.
While the production is always polished and professional, we work hard to keep the atmosphere relaxed - a creative space to chill out, interact with musicians, and experiment. Above all, it's somewhere to find and create great music. Make yourself at home.

Studio One
The focus of 2KHz, Studio One provides full recording and editing facilities. With plenty of standard and more unusual equipment available, there's room for a full band and more. Beyond the window is a world-class production suite, including the Trident series 80 desk.
The concept of the studio is to provide the best of analogue vintage recording facilities combined with the latest up to date recording technology. Our Protools System is also included in the studio rental, as well as the use of our vintage analogue two inch tape machine. Studio Two
A more intimate musical space, Studio Two provides great low-key atmosphere. This studio allows for quiet experimentation and rehearsal as well as quality recording. Their are tie-lines into studio 1 and an excellent vocal booth.
