Bluewater Studios is a Pro-Tools facility located near Sherwood Forest in North Nottinghamshire. We offer a mellow and relaxing atmosphere in which creative spirits can be set free. The studio is located on the ground floor with easy access to the car park, where there are plenty of spaces. Artists can also benefit from the lounge area upstairs where they can relax away from the recording studio

Audio mastering is often confused with mixing, but the two are quite different: Mixing is balancing the levels between instruments and getting the individual instruments to sound good together in a mix, where as mastering is the final touch maximising the track volume. Commercially released CDs often sound much louder than your own mixes as they use compression and clever limiting techniques to maximise the levels, boosting the overall sound. In these sessions we look at editing start and end points, and give you a final mastered CD ready to be pressed.

Fancy something different for your birthday party or celebration? We offer the opportunity for you to come into a professional recording studio and record your own song, on your own or in a group. This opportunity is suitable for all ages. This experience is based on £180 a day or £35 per hour Each session includes an engineer the use of our backing tracks and a copy of the finished CD. And also artwork if you wish to have the full professional package.
