Alongside being a fully functional studio for public usage, MCC Studios is a non profit making social enterprise initiative set up by leading professional musicians. Launched in 2003 in Tameside, Manchester, the aim of the initiative is to create thousands of new bands across the country by encouraging new musicians, initially drummers to take up the instrument that is generally least accessible in schools, firstly by demonstrating in a unique schools workshop , the pleasures and sense of self achievement created from mastering the instrument and being part of a live band on stage
In a nut shell that`s what we do, encourage people to create music and involve themselves in music at every level. Regardless of ability, social background or race, MCC runs tuition courses for every aspect of the world of music. For example: Musical therapy recognition for special needs services, Duke of Edinburgh Awards for young offenders and excluded children. Rockschool examination syllabus, for improved GCSE and A level results, in schools and at our centre. Even if you cannot play an instrument we have certificated courses to help you gain employment in the music industry, such as our guitar technicians /stage hand course.

| MCC Studios offer a wide range of music tuition ranging across all musical genres. Tuition is taught by professional, working musicians in a safe and comforatble enviroment.
All students are activley encouraged to participate in the Rock School grading scheme which counts towards GCSE results. Lessons are competativly priced and can be booked in blocks of 10. For more information please feel free to contact us
