Whether you're 6 or 96 this is your chance to try your hand at becoming the new recording sensation. With numerous backing tracks to choose from every era, you can sing it your way. The experience is on a one-to-one basis and is a great way to see the fascinating work that goes on in a recording studio while making your own fun souvenir of the event. A personalised gift pack entitles you, or your nominated friend or relative, full use of the latest digital technology. You'll be in the capable hands of a qualified, experienced engineer/producer who will guide you through the recording process enabling you to achieve that elusive professional sound! Vocal guidance is provided throughout the session and a 'Vocal training manual' is included with each session for you to take and practice with. 'Artists with promise' will be given a list of A&R department contacts for the major recording companies. Guidance on a career within the industry can also be discussed.

The 1 & 2 hour sessions are ideal for a solo or duet, also up to four friends may come along for support and video proceedings or take photos if they wish. The longer sessions may be used by up to four people, this include a band/group to record that all important 'DEMO'. You may of course record your own material and we will be only too pleased to offer musical/composition advice if required (if possible bring along a chord sheet or score as sight reading and arranging is an added facility of the studio). At the end of the session you will be presented with your very own 'On Body printed and lacquered' CD, you may of course purchase more copies if you wish.

For that extra special present a wall mounted 'Generic Gold Disk', complete with engraved name plaque, can also be purchased/ordered on the day along with the obligatory name, T-Shirts/Sweat Shirts/Polo Shirts & Harvard Style

Four hours studio time to include up to 10 people all taking part in a combined or separate performance and all receiving a CD of each performance, or the complete production. The session will take the form of a brief introduction in the control room with an explanation of a few of the effects/tricks of the trade, followed by the recording session of their choice. i.e. (approx. 25 minutes per person/pro - rata or duo/trio etc) - From £300

As for the vocal session above but the backing has not instrument you play. Play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, brass, woodwind etc, along with your favourite track.(Check studio for track availability) Some of the instruments/effects available for use in the studio: - Acoustic Piano, Electric Piano, Randall / H&K / Marshall /Carlsbro Amps, Ovation / Fender / Gibson / Vintage Guitars, Antoni String Bass, Paxman French Horn, Olds Trumpet, Numerous Percussion, Lexicon, Yamaha, Drawmer / Akai / Roland / Digitech / Steven / T.C. Electronic / Zoom / Korg etc. Numerous Outboard effects.

Why not try your hand at being an engineer. Record your own material, or mix from previously recorded Artists Digital or Analogue Multi track Masters. This is a 'hands on experience' and covers everything from correct microphone placement, drum and acoustic recording, signal processing, D.I. & MIDI  applications etc. In fact we can tailor make the course to your requirements. If you wish you can even bring along your home recordings and fine-tune them using the latest technology. At the end of the session you will receive a 'RECORDING STUDIO FOUNDATION COURSE' certificate as well as a CD Master of your production.

Mobile recording is an added speciality of the studio. A multi track location unit specialising in acoustic recording can record you performance, be it a live show or a controlled event, using the very latest technology. We have the ability to sight read conductors scores thereby reducing rehearsal time. Hence, giving more dedication to the recording time itself. Choirs, orchestras, brass bands, school productions and operatic performances inside and out can be captured in sound for prosperity or posterity.
