The Music Factory is a bespoke recording studio based in Blackpool, Lancashire. We cover a wide range of services such as voiceovers, backing tracks and jingles to name a few. We can output recorded media to various formats which include mp3, CD and DVD duplication. Established since 1995, Andy Mudd the proprietor has years of experience too numerous to mention in the Musical field. Andy was seen in numerous studio's, mixing, editing and producing various projects and albums for many of the country's top names in show business today. He has directed many shows, pantomimes and musical productions, with the peak of his career yielding a position as Musical Director to the nationally famous Joe Longthorne, as well as his own company producing arrangements and tracks, in a profession that he loves. Every single piece of produced music that leaves the Music Factory carries his personal seal of approval, so you can be sure that you will receive the highest quality. rehearsal room
At the Music Factory we can boast a rehearsal room that can easily accept an 8 piece band for either rehearsing or even live recording. Our rehearsal room is brand new, so it is tastefully decorated and more importantly, soundproofed and centrally heated. On site, you will even find vending machines for your refreshment providing you with everything from fresh water to hot chocolate. We have state of the art equipment from a 48 channel digital mixing desk, to vocal processors and the latest DAT recording facilities. Our rates for rehearsals are very competitive starting at approximately £8.00 per hour. We even have some musical equipment on site which can be used by prior arrangement on booking. Longer hour rehearsing will of course invoke cheaper hire charges, which are available on request when you book.

The custom backing-track division of The Music Factory is rapidly gaining a reputation for quality backing tracks. On this site you will find a full searchable database of backing tracks ready to order. We Provide Professional Quality Backing Tracks for solo singers, singer guitarists, guitar players, duos, bands, karaoke and tribute acts etc. In fact what ever occasion you need a backing track for we can help.. You can choose as many tracks as you wish. You don't pay anything on-line yet, we will contact you and process the order over the telephone. • Prices for individual library tracks are from £7.50 each • Medley's from £12 • Custom tracks from £70 • Musical arrangements from £5 per page • arrangements from library from £15 • Studio hire from £25 / £35 per hour • One-off master CD's £5 • Mini Discs £2 • Dat tapes from £3 (dependent on length) • Audio cassettes from 50p (dependent on length)
