Set in five acres of landscaped gardens in quiet Cheshire countryside we are just two minutes from the M6 at Junction 16 and within 40 minutes of Manchester, Derby and Birmingham. We are delighted to welcome those people new to a recording studio and of course those for whom a studio is almost a second home. In all cases we know you will be delighted with the results.

Studio one is our largest housing both analogue and the latest digital technology giving an almost unlimited number of tracks. Along with a wealth of outboard equipment, we have impressive mixing, sampling and mastering facilities. At nearly 4000 cubic feet, the live room has ample space for rock, brass, choral or small orchestral work. There is a completely separate percussion room allied to Studio 1

Studio two is totally digital and hosts our solo recording area, remix and video editing suite.

Of course we have a wide range of microphones from Neumann, AKG, Rode, Audio Technica and Shure. Monitoring is through Yamaha NS10, JBL, BSS and Tannoy systems and pre amplification through TL Audio, Joe Meek, Yamaha and Focusrite. In experienced hands, further equipment from Soundcraft, Yamaha, Antare and TC Electronics (to name but a few) ensure you feel the difference between satisfaction and delight.

We have a selection of instruments if required including Yamaha, Landola, Tanglewood and Ovation acoustic guitars, Tocas, virtual and live drum kits and Korg keyboards including the renowned 88 weighted key Triton

Here at Orchard Studios we love to encourage enthusiasm and talent. Our half day recording session includes a whole heap of friendly advice and guidance to ensure this is simply a fabulous gift for any occasion.

You will take away two fully produced CDs which even have your photographs and artwork on the CDs and cases. We have literally thousands of backing tracks from which to choose, or of course you can bring or play your own. Please do give us a call for more information

You don't have to sing like an angel, or for that matter, be any kind of musician, but you do need bags of enthusiasm, a little imagination and a great sense of humour.

The objective is for each team to write, compose, record and produce a professional CD in just one day! It can be done but every role is vital to successful production and far from working in isolation, it is vital that there is constant interaction between all team members.
