Pinna Productions' Audio Team was set up in 2005 by chief engineers and sound designers, Kev and Sonny. Having met at University studying Audio Engineering and working in the industry, they decided to form a base from which to work, and use as a platform to launch themselves, other engineers/producers and the artistes they were involved with.
Our recording studio, set in central London, offers the best combination of analogue and digital recording, for all of todays audio productions. Our aim at Pinna Productions is to offer the full package of audio products to help reduce the cost of production, which occurs when using multiple companies. By using solely Pinna Productions, you get the high quality products you require, with one bill and guaranteed standards... and the more you buy the more you save.

Our control room is a generous 20sqm and is acoustically seperated from the live room. This means accurate monitoring can be achieved, but with great visibility via the double planed window. We've also treated the room to maximise the sound quality for accurate mixing and trackign. Take a look at the Gallery for panaramic pics.
The Equipment
We aim to keep our studio equiped with the latest gear, such as our ProTools 7.2 HD system (also running Logic 7.2 and Cubase SX2), but we've filled it with great toys for our engineers and you to play with. These 'toys' include a 1950's Gates Sta Level, WEM Copicat and loads of sythns, effects and signal processors for you to get really creative. |

live room |

Our studio has one, great sounding live room to offer, treated to get the best from the space. It's ideal for roomy drum sounds and big guitars as well as classical ensembles. We also have moveable baffles with slate and acoustic dampers, so that splashy drum sounds are as easily obtainable as 'dead' voice overs.
The Equipment Along with a great sounding room, we have a wide selection of microphones to offer including Shure, Oktava, and Rode as well as two RCA 74b, for hire at a minimal cost. We also have a great back line selection to use for free including a '60s Trixon kit, Fender, Ashdown and Session Amps and a selection of guitars and basses. |

The recording studio can be hired either by the hour or by the day. The prices given are our base rates and we are more than happy to negotiate prices depending on your cicumstances and the duration of the time hired.
Hourly Rate: £35 per hour with a minimum of 2hr bookings
Daily Rate: £300 per day for 12hr day - discounts given for longer bookings
What's Included
In order to have no hidden charges, all our studio prices will include an engineer, all recording equipment as well as back line and storage media (CD's and DVD's). This means you can be confident you'll have everything you need for the money you pay. Negotiated prices may not include or items offered. Please ensure all terms are agreed

Location Recording
Due to the nature of location recording and the fact that each recording scenario can be dramatially different from the next, the prices given are only base rates and we would advice you to contact us with you information to recieve a more accurate qoute.
What's Included
Our portable studio containing ProTools 7.1 and a selection of professional mics, can record upto 16 tracks simultaneously. We specialise in Classical concerts though most music and coperate events are catered for. Depending on your requirements, we are also able to mix recordings in our studio, or to hand over the file for you to mix.
Mastering
We have available to us great rates on professional analogue and digital mastering, from mastering engineers used by the top studios and engineers.
Filming
In order to provide the full range of audio/visual services to you, we have teamed up with camera operators and producers alike to offer professional showreels at discount prices.
Duplication
Once you've produced your album or showreel, had it mastered professionally, we can get it duplicated for you, on most formats, at competitive prices.

The Bar
Right out side our the studio is the complex's very own bar open from 12 noon until the last person standing. The bar is a great place to relax in between takes or while other members of the band are overdubbing, with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic, hot and cold drinks. Every Sunday is 'Bloody Mary Special' day and of course... Sunday Roasts. The Kitchen
Just across the hall from the bar is the kitchen, complete with its very own French Chef. Freddie has a great range of regular menu dishes as well as two daily two specials. All the food is freshly prepared to order and can be delivered to wherever you are in the building... and at very reasonable prices. |
