With four studios in one complex, Sarm West presents an optimum choice of top in-house equipment. The importance of providing the best in terms of equipment cannot of course be overstated, but at the same time we at Sarm are only too aware that a top class studio is not built on technology alone. Its foundations must also be rooted in a willingness and ability to present clients with first rate staff and backup, both technical and administrative, in a competent and friendly manner, and in comfortable surroundings that offer all neccessary amenities. In this respect Sarm West is second to none, making available the very best in-house engineers and a skilled maintenance team, complemented by a helpful and proficient staff, 24-hour security and equipment hire, catering from our professionally staffed and equipped kitchen, and a variety of recreational facilities.
Situated directly opposite Sarm West, close to the world famous Portobello Road Market, are six apartments that are available for short term rental. All six apartments are self contained and comprise of a bedroom with a double bed (three of which can be split into two singles), lounge, bathroom (including a shower) and a well equipped kitchen. Each apartment is fully centrally heated and each lounge includes a telephone and remote control television with satalite TV. All apartments (except one) also include a double sofa bed in the lounge, allowing these to accommodate 2/4 people in comfort.

The centrepiece of this light filled control room is a SSL 9080 J with Total Recall and Ultimation. The studio boasts Natural daylight, Allen Sides monitors, Lynx synchroiser, a comprehensive selection of outboard gear and one of the largest Live areas in London - complete with 3 isolation booths.
Studio One also now incorporates the 'Hendrix Suite' comprising, over two floors, a VIP lounge and dining area, kitchen, bathroom and shower.
Satallite TV, Wireless & Wired Broadband is also provided.

Sarm Studio 2 is what you may call our vintage room, ideal for recording/mixing bands or as a writting room. It houses a classic SSL 4048 E console with G-series computer and Total Recall, Sean Davies monitors, a comprehensive selection of outboard equipment and a sizeable live room.

Studio 3 is one of Sarm's most recently refurbished rooms and as a result has proven incredibly popular. The studio now incorporates natural daylight, overdub booth and a private lounge, all adding up to the prefect mix environment. The control room now boasts an SSL 9080 J series console (72 channels fitted), Total Recall, Ultimation and fabulous Quested 5.1 surround monitoring.
Satallite TV, Wireless & Wired Broadband is also provided. |

Natural daylight and a separate recording booth compliment Studio 4 control room which is perfect for post production and writing. The room is shown above with a Euphonix CS2000 portable desk installed, but the space provides opportunity to house many types of console from small 32 track mackie mixers to full Pro-control systems. The choice really is yours! There is a good selection of 2-track outboard and main monitoring is from Quested.
