Jackie has been singing professionally for 28 years, she was one of the
original singers in the band Shakatak, and as a freelance vocalist has worked with andsung on records by Elton John, Eric Clapton, Celine Dion, Cher, Pulp, and manyother chart acts, including all three Streets albums.
Her debut solo album is titled "My Truth" and comes with a warning: This musicis of a higher nature, it could seriously nourish your soul. The flavour ofthe music is soul, jazz, funk, blues, gospel and the lyric is uplifting andthought provoking.
Kipper who co-produces and is musical director for Sting says: "I first sawJackie perform at the Songwriters Club, and whilst there were some excellentacts playing, Jackie shone more brightly, bringing the house down with heroctane fuelled soulful voice, plus her incredible energy and stage presence".
As an artist Jackie is currently looking for Management, and a licencing ordistribution deal.
